These Terms of Service govern use of Fishing Social Media API, a service that helps business owners connect approved Google, Facebook, Instagram, and related social or maps integrations to websites built or managed for them.
Use Of The Service
You may use the service only for lawful business purposes and only for accounts, pages, profiles, locations, and websites that you own, manage, or are authorized to connect.
Account Authorization
When you connect a Google, Facebook, Instagram, or other third-party account, you confirm that you have authority to grant access for that business. You may revoke access through the third-party platform or by contacting us.
Customer Content
You retain ownership of your business content, reviews, social posts, media, logos, and other materials. You grant us permission to access, cache, process, and display that content only as needed to provide customer-approved website features and support the service.
Platform Rules
Your use of connected third-party services is also governed by the terms and policies of those platforms, including Google, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. We are not responsible for changes, outages, limits, reviews, removals, or enforcement actions by third-party platforms.
API Keys And Access
Client site keys, account credentials, and access links must be kept confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs through website keys or accounts issued to you or your business unless caused by our failure to use reasonable safeguards.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the service to violate laws, infringe rights, misrepresent authorization, collect data from accounts you do not control, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, reverse engineer the service, or use connected account data for advertising, surveillance, resale, data brokerage, credit decisions, or other unauthorized purposes.
Availability And Changes
The service depends on hosting providers and third-party APIs. We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, third-party platform changes, or business reasons.
Fees
Any fees for website builds, hosting, integrations, maintenance, or related services are handled under the separate agreement or invoice between us and the customer.
Disclaimer
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, exact review counts, social feed availability, third-party API approval, or that third-party content will always be available or unchanged.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, third-party API changes, or platform enforcement actions.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if the service is misused, if access creates security or legal risk, if required by a third-party platform, or if a customer relationship ends. You may stop using the service or request disconnection at any time.
